Living in Hampshire, with strong family connections to Cornwall, I’m lucky to have access to wide, open spaces and the seemingly endless ocean.

My paintings are semi-abstract in style and depict the constantly changing conditions of the sea and sky.

Semi-abstract paintings allow space for the viewer to use their own imagination, reflecting their feelings and response to nature rather than mine.

I paint in oils as they have a real glow and subtlety that works so well to suggest the texture of clouds, the colours of the sea and the feel of the land.
